Capt. Saki

I was born and raised in Tarpon Springs and have fished the surrounding waters of west central Florida for over 20 years. I’m also very familiar with the waters surrounding east central, and south Florida, as well as the Florida Keys.  My extensive knowledge comes from years of experience and observations, as well as my many close associations with some of the best and storied inshore guides in the state. I not only fish for a living, I also live to fish.

Light tackle fishing is the utmost fishing experience in Florida. Capt. Saki fishes from different locations throughout the year so it enables you to experience different types of angling with Capt. Saki. You will catch such a variety of gamefish and “water to table” fish for any season due to his vast knowledge of different waterways/locations and types of fishing.  Come enjoy some of the most fertile fisheries in Tarpon Springs and Boca Grande, Florida with Capt. Saki.  He routinely fishes mangrove islands, rivers, intercostal flats, harbors, beaches and the Gulf of Mexico depending on the season and “what’s biting”.  Whether you are a first time angler or a seasoned veteran you will enjoy the day.  If you are fishing in his home town of Tarpon Springs, you can guarantee that if you want your fresh catch cooked for you, he will hook you up with locally owned restaurants on the Sponge Docks to prepare and serve your fresh catch.  The experience is always different everyday but the end result is catching fish and making memories of a lifetime.

If you have a group that would like a multiple boat charter, Capt. Saki has a network of experienced guides to make that happen.  He is connected with other successful captains throughout the Bay Area and can make your multi-boat excursion a reality.

Boat and Equipment

Saki's Boat

Capt. Saki’s boat is a fishing machine.  It is a 2017 25’ Dorado custom built for Saki, with a cavernous 62 gallon transom live well for ease of access to bait, a wider beam to maintain a shallow draft, and an additional 40 square feet of fishing space!  Which basically means more room for you to move with ease while on board. With a powerful 300hp Mercury Pro engine you can get to the next fishing spot without missing a tide.  It also has twin power pole blades to provide solid anchoring so there is always a “good” spot to fish on the boat or you can cruise the side of a mangrove island with the remote control iPilot trolling motor which is the latest in advanced technology.  This boat is equipped with Simrad electronics which will provide reliable information in all conditions.

Nothing but top of the line fishing equipment on this boat, you will be fishing with St. Croix & G. Loomis rods while reeling in your catch with Diawa reels.
